How selfless real love is....

My wife called, 'How long will you be with that newspaper? Will you come here and make your darling daughter eat her food?

I tossed the paper away and rushed to the scene.. My only daughter, Sindu, looked frightened; tears were welling up in her eyes. In front of her was a bowl filled to its brim with curd rice. Sindu is a nice child, quite intelligent for her age.

I cleared my throat and picked up the bowl. 'Sindu, darling, why don't you take a few mouthful of this curd rice? Just for Dad's sake, dear'.

Sindu softened a bit and wiped her tears with the back of her hands. 'Ok, Dad. I will eat - not just a few mouthfuls, but the whole lot of this. But, you should...' Sindu hesitated. 'Dad, if I eat this entire curd Rice, will you give me whatever I ask for?' 'Promise'.

I covered the pink soft hand extended by my daughter with mine, and clinched the deal. Now I became a bit anxious. 'Sindu, dear, you shouldn't insist on getting a computer or any such expensive items. Dad does not have that kind of money right now. Ok?' 'No, Dad. I do not want anything expensive'. Slowly and painfully, she finished eating the whole quantity.

I was silently angry with my wife and my mother for forcing my child to eat something that she detested. After the ordeal was through, Sindu came to me with her eyes wide with expectation. All our attention was on her.

'Dad, I want to have my head shaved off, this Sunday!' was her demand

'Atrocious!' shouted my wife, 'A girl child having her head shaved off? Impossible!' 'Never in our family!' My mother rasped. 'She has been watching too much of television. Our culture is getting totally spoiled with these TV programs!'

'Sindu, darling, why don't you ask for something else? We will be sad seeing you with a clean-shaven head.' 'Please, Sindu, why don't you try to understand our feelings?' I tried to plead with her. 'Dad, you saw how difficult it was for me to eat that Curd Rice'.. Sindu was in tears. 'And you promised to grant me whatever I ask for. Now, you are going back on your words. Was it not you who told me the story of King Harishchandra, and its moral that we should honor our promises no matter what?'

It was time for me to call the shots. 'Our promise must be kept.' 'Are you out of your mind?' chorused my mother and wife. 'No. If we go back on ourpromises, she will never learn to honour her own. Sindu, your wish will be fulfilled.' With her head clean-shaven, Sindu had a round-face, and her eyes looked big and beautiful.

On Monday morning, I dropped her at her school. It was a sight to watch my hairless Sindu walking towards her classroom. She turned around and waved. I waved back with a smile. Just then, a boy alighted from a car, and shouted, 'Sinduja, please wait for me!' What struck me was the hairless head of that boy. 'May be, that is the in-stuff', I thought.

'Sir, your daughter Sinduja is great indeed!' Without introducing herself, a lady got out of the car, and continued, 'that boy who is walking along with your daughter is my son Harish. He is suffering from... leukemia'. She paused to muffle her sobs. 'Harish could not attend the school for the whole of the last month. He lost all his hair due to the side effects of the chemotherapy. He refused to come back to school fearing the unintentional but cruel teasing of the schoolmates. Sinduja visited him last week, and promised him that she will take care of the teasing issue. But, I never imagined she would sacrifice her lovely hair for the sake of my son! Sir, you and your wife are blessed to have such a noble soul as your daughter.' I stood transfixed and then, I wept. 'My little Angel, you are teaching me how selfless real love is!'

Marriage Joins Two People in the Circle of its Love

This post special for all my friends out there who is married, who is going to get married and who is going to re-marry ;)
This is specially dedicated to my dear friend Kavita and her hubby Sam.

Hope this love birds will be happy together forever!
Luv u all guyz...

Marriage is a commitment to life,

the best that two people can find and bring out in each other.

It offers opportunities for sharing and growththat no other relationship can equal.

It is a physical and an emotional joining that is promised for a lifetime.

Within the circle of its love,

marriage encompasses all of life's most important relationships.

A wife and a husband are each other's best friend,

confidant, lover, teacher, listener, and critic.

And there may come times when one partner is heartbroken or ailing

,and the love of the other may resemblethe tender caring of a parent or child.

Marriage deepens and enriches every facet of life.

Happiness is fuller, memories are fresher,commitment is stronger,

even anger is felt more strongly,and passes away more quickly.

Marriage understands and forgives the mistakes lifeis unable to avoid.

It encourages and nurtures new life,new experiences,

new ways of expressinga love that is deeper than life.
When two people pledge their love and care for each other in marriage,

they create a spirit unique unto themselves which binds them closerthan any spoken or written words.

Marriage is a promise, a potential made in the hearts of two peoplewho love each other and takes a lifetime to fulfill.

Does Love need a Reason...??

Some never understand

Once a lady when having a conversation with her lover, asked:

Lady : Why do you like me..? Why do you love me?

Man :I can t tell the reason.. but I really like you..

Lady :You can t even tell me the reason... how can you say you like me? How can you say you love me?

Man : I really don t know the reason, but I can prove that I love U.

Lady : Proof? No! I want you to tell me the reason. My friend s boyfriend can tell her why he loves her but not you!

Man : Ok..ok!!! Erm... because you are beautiful, because your voice is sweet,
because you are caring, because you are loving, because you are thoughtful, because of
your smile,because of your every movements.

The lady felt very satisfied with the man s answer.

Unfortunately, a few days later, the Lady met with an accident and went in comma.

The Guy then placed a letter by her side,

Here is the content:
Darling,Because of your sweet voice that I love you...Now can you talk? No! Therefore I cannot love you.

Because of your care and concern that I like you..Now that you cannot show them, therefore I cannot love you.
Because of your smile,because of your every movements that I love you..

Now can you smile? Now can you move?No, therefore I cannot love you...
If love needs a reason, like now,There is no reason for me to love you anymore.

Does love need a reason?

NO!Therefore,
I still LOVE YOU...
"True love never dies for it is lust that fades away. Love bonds for a lifetime but lust just pushes away"

Mother Teresa's Poem

Mother Teresa has engraved on the wall of her home for children in Calcutta .

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;

Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true
enemies;

Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;

Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;

Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;

Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will forget tomorrow,

Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give
the world the best

you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God, It never
was

between you and them anyway.

A cute love story

Girl - Am I pretty?
Boy - No..
Girl - Do you want to live with me?
Boy - No..
Girl - Will you cry if I leave you?
Boy - No..

The girl got vexed & started to cry...
The boy pulled her close to him and said -
You are not pretty but PRETTIEST.
I dont want to live with you but live for you.
If you leave me I wont cry but I'll die.

The Images of Mother

  • 4 YEARS OF AGE Y My Mommy can do anything!
  • 8 YEARS OF AGE Y My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
  • 12 YEARS OF AGE Y My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.
  • 14 YEARS OF AGE Y Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either!
  • 16 YEARS OF AGE Y Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned..
  • 18 YEARS OF AGE Y That old woman? She's way out of date!
  • 25 YEARS OF AGE Y Well, she might know a little bit about it.
  • 35 YEARS OF AGE Y Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.
  • 45 YEARS OF AGE Y Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?
  • 65 YEARS OF AGE Y Wish I could talk it over with Mom. .

Missing!!

Hi guyz..today I wanted to talk about a person who you admire in your life and you lost touch with him/he?

I miss my teacher, her name is Wan Sazimah my Malay Language teacher. She was teaching me when I was in Form 2. She is such a nice and wonderful lady. I love her so much.

But now I lost in touch with her. Once I met her in my town but unfortunately I was unable to talk to her. Furthermore, she did not see me. Now, I m trying to get her contact number. If I see her now, I will hug her and will spend time to chat with her!

So you guyz..do you have anyone like this that you missed them so much and looking forward to meet this person. Share with me.
